Design 400 - Theoretical Project
The private dwelling, sitting on the rolling beaches of Presidio, San Francisco, brings together the residence of a young designer and her entourage of dancers, and artists in the physical expression of bodily movement and the natural landscape. This one-story form steps down with the occupants along the steep slope of the hills, to pockets of dance and practice space. This is guided by the curvature of roof for these dynamic spaces, intertwinning and providing accents to the functional form and function of the program.
